Located in Saint-Hubert, on the South Shore of Montreal, the Héroux-Devtek engineering office is where it all starts. It is in our recent building, bright and protected from traffic jams that we design, test, and qualify the landing gears of tomorrow.

Summary of position

Your expertise will be most sought after for our large-scale projects. As a member of a multidisciplinary engineering team, your computation and analysis skills will be solicited in order to calculate the resistance to limit and ultimate loads, fatigue damage, and damage tolerance for the development of new landing gears.

Main responsibilities

You will be responsible for the structural analyzes of various individual components, or a subsystem, to demonstrate their ability to withstand the loads during laboratory testing or during operation. You will contribute to a team environment where the sharing of critical ideas and information is essential to designing new products that are robust, sustainable, less expensive, and lighter.

Qualifications requises et exigences

• Mechanical and/or Aeronautical Engineering diploma
• Conceptualization minded and practical approach
• Ability to solve complex technical problems
• Sense of priorities and organization
• Knowledge of Nastran, Patran, Abaqus and Marc software
• French knowledge is an asset
